Thursday night, waiting for the third to last Sopranos ever, listening to snippets of downloaded tunes and painting ceramics. The result - big ugly and otherwise boring ceramics are given a Trixie makeover.

Yeah I know Esther’s my buddy but it’s still BLOODY GENIUS and the shoppers thought so too-it sold in seconds! It’s an authentic 12″ as well, so now you can cuddle your music man.

Craft2 is held in the New Dowse Art Gallery in Wellington, so it’s a bit of an up-market craft market-plenty of great vendors, check them out-craft2- and so the plates I’m doing will have a hint of my art school background, including using some chipped but gorgeous old bits of china like this threesome pictured as well as an ode to one of the wackiest artists (and a personal fave) Salvador Dali with this Mae West plate after his painting of the same name.
