If you’re in Auckland town on Saturday the 30th June, don’t miss this cool event….I will be there flogging plates and trying to behave because it’s a slightly different crowd than those rebellious Craftwerk parties - this time it’s aimed at everyone, families, kiddies maybe even blokes and not just gay ones at that……so if you’re looking for the more risque plates just wink at me and I’ll pull out my box (ahem) of plates that is and you can fish through all the naughtiness just like the dodgy section at the video store eh?

Now I know what to do with all my vintage rejects- give them to Comme des Garcons for their next photo shoot.

My shopping on Etsy really has been paying off. A new parcel arrived this morning and inside lovely hand knitted goodies plus extra surprises. I’m not the best model but these are so adorable, and as it is winter here in NZ a bit of wool goes along way to making me feel warm and cosy and brightening up the day. These are very versatile, wear them on hat coat scarf or bag. The sticky plaster could go anywhere, on yer bum I reckon…..and who’s responsible for all this woolly genius? Rubyfae- go buy her stuff today!

Indie Kiwi Craft exposed!

Quality publications are taking note of the new Craft movement, on the web and in NZ promoting and selling all those delicious hand-made goodies we all want.

So many of us are sick of walking into malls and shops full of commercially made crap when what we really want to buy is something with soul, hand made by someone with home-grown talent, training and personality.

Good on ya Inspirations magazine for taking notice, and nice pics too!

Just completed some more hairdos on a set of grapevine edged tea plates- the Donnas one of my fave bands.

Unfortunately, after pulling them out of the oven I noticed one had a fleabite. Still delighted with the look they will be posted at a special price so keep a look out for them on Etsy!
